Thumbs up Virtual Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary 1940-2010

Hi Oleg,

The other day I found a project to commemorate in historical form virtual battle of the Channel and it seems very interesting idea. I know I speaking about MODs is not quite correct in these forum, but I think the project is very good idea and very interesting. Ideally, they should have done with the new simulator of SoW:BoB.

We all know that you do everything possible to have completed the new BoB Thx

The site has English menus and some text, but almost everything is written in Spanish. I've used the Google translator and you can read it in an acceptable manner.

http://virtualbattleofbritain.org/

One question I have is: Do you think that we could use the NEW SoW: BoB in September for this Virtual Memorial Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary 1940 to 2010?

Thanks for all your work and sorry if this topic may disturb you. It is not my intention.

Yours sincerely

Alexander

You can't see it happening ? You must be quite frustrated even with your intimate knowledge of SOW and its progress. Maybe you should post in every thread with a complaint about 1Cs progress with SOW, after all its so helpful to them.

Maybe it will be released on the anniversary date of the last day of the invasion. The day when the Luftwaffe planes were no longer seen over Britain.

That no doubt was a marvelous day in Britain. No doubt there was a lot of apprehension as Brits looked into the skies.

No more bombers, no more scrambles, no more civil alarms and clanging of firetrucks.

Yeah, you could follow that up by posting a comment everytime i do, oh hang on you already do that, jeez man your obessed with me... Seriously though Eries I am flattered but please try and stay on topic once in a while.

So getting back on track apparently Oleg has posted on a russian forum that SOW will be a 2010 release even if not finished. Thanks to Bonapart at SimHQ for this info.

Q&A session with Oleg Maddox from Russian forum,May 17th-2010.

"Game will be released in 2010.This is our plan.
Personally,I wanna add more content, and release it at the beginning of 2011.
But its unlikely to happen"

are two faces of the battle of Britain:
1: The Battle of Britain : middle 1940, day raids over united kingdom and the sea. STORM OF WAR theater

2: The Blitz: Night Bombers over south of England (finish of 1940 and 1941). Spitfire whit cannons and some 109F-2 and F-4

correct me
