probably the new thrustmaster warthog, due for release in the next few weeks ("spring 2010" advertised on their website). its probably the most high end quality stick manufacturing attempt since the cougar flop (nice idea but poorly finished, and needs +/- 300$ in mods done to it when you purchase it).
the warthog is by all early indications a high quality Hotas, without going nuts on the price (afaik). of the number of new sticks/hotas expected to be released, this one is probably going to be the best one
note: there is a new saitek hotas to, aimed at a similar end of the market, but has a stick which doesnt actually move ( it is force sensing). not very realistic for ww2 sims, and also not very comfortable for longer dogfights or maneuvers in prop planes
note 2: CH also has a new unit due out, but afaik it is initially only going to be for the military, after some months/yrs a consumer version might come out but this is still unclear.
edit: seems new official info is due for this stick on the 19th of this month, hopefully providing a release date as well (its due any day). initial rrp price will be high, prob around 400$ us street price at best
