Post Virtual parade of 9th May

Virtual aerobatic team "Fighting Woodpeckers" presents a programm for the 65th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic war executed at 4 fighters Yak-3.

I wish they had real Yak-3s or La-7s stored for later use on Victory parade of Great patroitic war.

I think so too.
After the war the Soviet Union had an aerobatic team flying at La-7. But the pilots changed their planes as fast as designers made new aircrafts. La-7 > Yak-15/Yak-17 > MiG-15 > MiG-17 > MiG-19....

I'd love to know what sort of equipment they use to control those aircraft so precisely. That is beautiful flying and a very nice video presentation too.

From joysticks we basically use different Saiteks (from 3D Gold till X52). Also some of our pilots use pedals and TrackIRs.

Seriously, that's pretty impressive! I find it hard to keep a straight line and speed, let-alone fly with another aircraft so close! Is a lot of it flown on trim, or do you set dead-bands very tight or loose?
