Default [MoW]Turning Point

Modification "Turning Point" tells further story of the german campaign from the game Faces of War. After capturing Louvain and destroying two american divisions and one british regiment, the german soldiers of the Third Reich face a new challenge: capturing Antwerp - main target of the entire german counteroffensive in Ardenes. The city is heaviliy defended. Although it is possible to conduct an intense attack of the armored troops along with air support, it is highly probable, that german army will suffer high casualties, and after this much of war they've been through, such an occurence would ultimately end in disaster for the Third Reich. Back in the german headquarters Kurt Student gives his idea of conducting an air assualt and troop landing at Fallschirmjäger. Student wants to land the entire 1st Paratrooper Army in the city, and - based on the intelligence data - he creates a plan how to land the troops in the city. Hitler despite his earlier declaration from 1941 upon familiarizing himself with his general's attack plans allows to conduct the greatest in history airborne infantry offense. In this modification we will be commanding german paratroopers throughout the offensive. We will also take part in battle for Antwerp, as well as in series of other minor battles in Belgium, Holand and the eastern front.

Game features:

- new aircraft, i.e. DFS-230 and Gotha Go 242 gliders, or Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant heavy transport plane.
- new soldier inventory - handguns, artilllery, light vehicles, ...and so on.
- new missions.
- new units.
- new textures.
- encyclopedy filled with many interesting information regarding german parachute troops, everything kept in the same style as the Red Tide encyclopedy.

I'd like to present a single picture of a german glider.
