Default Need a Romanian Bf 109 skin of Ion Dobran-Yellow 22 please? ASAP

Apologies for requesting this with only a short window of opportunity for it to be created, but I wonder if anyone out their is able to turn a skin around pretty quickly for this pilot, Ion Dobran of the elite Escadrila 48 vanatoare, Grupul 9 vanatoare, Bf 109G-6 'Yellow 22'

(at 37 seconds Number 22 is shown)

Any help would be much appreciated. I think the image above is close, but too dark, however the video shows the profile colours better. I do very much stand to be corrected.

Thanks for any help, cheers, MP.

Hi VP...blimey that's quick. Can I ask...what is the writing under the Port-side cockpit...I couldn't find an image that showed it?

Secondly, where would the 9th FG badge be placed?

Cheers, MP.

The badge is shown in the painting on the engine cowling. The text below the cockpit is "Panta Rei", the name of his aircraft, its also visible in the video at 00:37.

That'd be a fun campaign to fly actually... mix of opponents from the Russians and Americans.

I added the squadron insigna of the 9th fighter group (Grupul 9 vanatore)

according to pictures found here:

http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazin...ofile_farr.htm

I also corrected the wing leading edges and the Panta Rei inscription went into two rows instead of one according to this profile

http://www.worldwar2.ro/arr/prdobran3.JPG

found at http://www.worldwar2.ro/arr/?article=695

I could not make out the exact type, I used an old script font

I'll upload the whole stuff including the unmarked to mission4today.com so everybody can download it

Cheers

Hi Puma, here's a site that has lots of info on dobran and other romanian pilots and planes of that time:

http://www.worldwar2.ro/arr/?article=695

Vpmedia's skin looks good except for the font used for the plane number. I'd also use a darker yellow tone. These planes didn't fly for years to allow the colors to fade.

Hey MP, does this have something to do with the visit to Bucharest of Col. Barrie Davis, the pilot of that Mustang in that image you posted?
