Game Crashes when exit training area!

Game exits to desktop, when leaving the training area, no error messages. Odd, the English demo ran fine, no issues!

Full Game, DVD Version 1.2 build 5730 (English)

Sequence of Events
1. Exit training area
2. New area loads
3. I see the Quest complete message (Welcome to Teann)
4. Game exits to desktop!

System Specs
P4 - 3 GHz
2 GB Ram
Win XP SP3
DX 9.0c
Video Card GF6800 GS / 256 MB RAM
Video Driver 6.14.11.9107
1080x1024 (default graphic settings)

Tried the following, no effect!

-Re-installed the game
-Re-installed Dx9.0c
-Re-installed Video Driver
-Copied DLL d3dx9_33.dll to game directory.
-Lowered screen res and detail
-Disabled Anti-Virus (Microsoft Security Essentials)
-Turned off sound and music
-Tried running in Windowed Mode (edited game.ini file set windowed 1)
-Updated video drivers to 6.14.11.9581

Update:
Got beyond the training area, after updating video drivers.
Noticed: Now the game seems to crash (exits to desktop) when ever the Hero Upgrade message box appears!

The game still crashes (exits to desktop) when ever the Hero Upgrade message box appears!

This is one of the buggiest games I've seen, the demo ran just fine!
