Default Spinning disk prob Win 7

Hi guys!

Have installed Win 7 and now that I try to start game I just get a spinning disk icon for about 10 sec and then nothing!

Searched the forum and net have given e zero so far. UBI climes to have a hush-hush solution they won’t post, something to do with secuROM I think.

Anny suggestions?

Regards.

I had exactly the same problem. It is most likely a securom issue. Try the following.

Go here: https://support.securom.com/analysis.php

Download the SecuROM diag tool and run a scan. Just get it to update the nessesary files and it should then run.

(let it update IL2fb.exe)

It did the trick for me! No more disc spinning!

There is a official il2fb.exe with nocd feature because of protection problems.
Easiest way to solve the problem and leave the securom - s***t off your harddisk.

Have been looking for that to, since i reinstalled 1946, no luck so far.

Dont like the idea of having to run the DVD everytime/all the time, while playing 1946.

Unless securom byes me a new dvd drive when mine burns up
