Multiplayer Unlocks?

Started to unlock a few planes on MP but am I right that they are only available in specific MP games? I was hoping to get a bit of practice in SP mode but they don't show.

how do you mean?

basically, any plane you unlock can be used in any MP mode as long as the "year" is set to all. Otherwise you'll have to use planes set to that specific year.

In the single player campaign and missions you have to use a set plane, but with "training" you can use any you have unlocked.

Cheers FOZ, sussed it now! Some unlocks are additional weapon loadout for a particular plane. I was expecting to see a different plane/model ......tis me being a nerd!....
