Lobby bug - Letting you folks know...

Hi guys, just thought I would post here and let you know about a lobby bug that I seem to have. There is a game listed on the Team Match lobby that notes me as the host. However I am not hosting the game at all.

What happened was I created a room earlier today and while I was waiting to start the match I got disconnected from live. I could not log back in right away, LIVE itself was down for a short time for me. I logged back in 30 minutes later to find that the game I was hosting before disconnect was still listed in the lobby screen. The games been listed now for about 6 hours, but I dont know if anyone else can see it or not.

So if you see a team match game with me as the host and its noted as "not joinable" thats the bugged match.

It's too bad there's still small errors like this in the game. You can try posting it on the dev's forum but they're not responsible for the networking stuff, so I don't think they can do anything about it.

Aye the devs have used MS's network tools and code for Xbox live. It's a basic version of lobbies and ways to search for them. This happens on more than one Xbox game, phantom non joinable rooms appear in lobby searches. I assume it's a bug on the network server that holds lists of games to join.

It's happened to me once or twice on the PSN as well.

On several occasions (on PSN) I've seen two games listed by the same host, one or both of which are unjoinable. I shouldn't worry about it

Ah, that explains why that room was there last night.

This is another bug. I Search for say a friends Strike game and find none available. Then I receive an invite from the friend and join his game which in the lobby says its Strike mode, So I asume it wasn't created yet when I searched. When the game starts I find that it is a dogfight or team dogfight, and I'm flying an he111 >

This has happened four times this week.

I did a quick match search yesterday and noticed the first room had the user 2000000000023 (or something like that) and when it automatically tried to join it said it didn't exist.
