Default flight stick for xbox??

just wondering if a flight stick would really make much of a difference playnig bop. i just got the game and i love it but i dont have any other reason to use a stick would it be worth getting one just for this game or just use the pad? also im getting on live next week anyone keen to team up with a newb id like to learn leader/wingman type tactics looks like alot of fun. cheers Dom.

Depends what difficulty you're playing on. I play simulator with a Saitek AV8R-02 and its mile better than with a pad (still not perfect but better).
I got mine from Play.com for £25 brandnew and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

well i got my av8r yesterday so far im reallly impressed with it much easyer to handle the planes but it did take a bit of getting use to at first

id go for it

i started on amature but found it really boring so i went to realistic, im finding that pretty easy now so ill probably make the jump to sim soon. i like having the option of the external view though.. it looks rad. cant wait to get on line with it

I recommend stick for online, I found that in the heat of battle I kept clicking the look button on the right thumb stick and screwing up.

It really was a daft idea to map the look button to the same control as throttle and rudder!
