Yes, that had crossed my mind after buying and enjoying RoF. 777 Studios have been doing a great job. With the lack of availability of hard copies of CoD at launch, the staggered release dates, steam questions, this filter business thats now emerging and the general air of chaos surrounding the launch generally it's difficult to understand what UbiSoft brings to the table with all this.

777 have shown themselves to be excellent publishers and enthusiasts. Ubi are, well Ubi.
I think they have done fairly well overall with IL2 but I can't help remembering what they did with LockOn.

Class act as usual Jason.. I never understood that nonsense either... it's like comparing it's like comparing apples & oranges..
That would've been an excellent move, however i assume they're still stuck with Ubi due to previous contracts/agreements.

Tvrdi, do not judge for yourself
neither Vaal or Viks is arrogant.
and for firing Vaal must be hired
now all that he is doing for rof-project - he's doing for free.

Thank you Jason and Ilya.
Vaal's attitude was narow minded childish and silly. He can't see the big picture.
Flight simming is a small niche and both design teams are facing the same challenges. How narow minded do you have to be, to think you are helping one game by bashing the other, when the lead developers of both games are good friends.

This is the big picture:

There's plenty room on my computer for ROF, Il-2, COD , DCS, etc.

Guys,

Thanks for the kind words! 1C Mods feel free to lock this thread before any more issues erupt. I have said my bit and my original statement at the beginning still stands.

This isn't my forum so I'll leave now.

See you all in the virtual skies!

Jason
