Default Hurricane engine startup Problem

.... does anyone know how to get the Hurricane in the first mission of the campagne startet?

I am flying with complexe engine management and in other selfmade missions I have no problem getting the Hurricane off the ground.

In the first mission of the campagne I dont even get the engine started.
I open the fuelswitch, open the radiator, set mixture to rich, switch on the two magnetos, put proppitch on full and throttle on about 20% and push ignition - nothing, only a slight movement of the prop and some clouds from the exhaust pipes thats it, what is different on that Hurricane compared to the one I normally get started?

Anyone know?

I don't think the handpump is for engine management, but rather an emergency pump for the landing gear/ flaps.

I start the hurri without it anyway....

Just make sure: Full rich mix, 10% throttle, press start and WAIT a minute or so for the engine to get running fine, otherwise it will choke and die when you pump up the throttle.

Good luck once you get up though

Probably redundant but did you switch the fuelcock to on? That kept me grounded te first mission.
