I didn't score that one and wasn't able to take aim at him otherwise I would have stuffed it too.
hey you try to break turn and barrel roll on a chopped throttle at tree top level in a P-51B and see if you don't spin out too! This is another example of why both the crash/kill system and 51 needs to get fixed ASAP!

Those games were pretty fun BTW, the 360 has been really good, but you have to do it all through creating servers and friends lists, if you just go through the game's search you get nada.

I'm very hopeful for this game though I worry that we put far too much hope into the patch/dlc. Fixing the P-51 is utterly necessary and confirmed to be happening. Adding cockpits to the 109/190 is also utterly necessary and confirmed to be happening. What concerns me besides the issues on line is that there is no mention of fixing any of the FW190's obvious flaws. I realize this is just a game and that the planes will not be perfect but to have so many accurately modelled aircraft and then have truly one of the top three fighters of the era be so completely flawed is... well kinda lame, get it right!

How do we get people to play Realistic or sim? I'll go into a game lobby in arcade and try to talk people into realistic but 99% don't want to play it which I REALLY do not get.

HOWEVER... I remain in love with this game because it simply is the best of its genre by a long ways and the makers seem to want to fix most of the bugs so until something better comes along I will at least play it once in a while. I think once I can fly cockpit view on the 109's my game play will go WAY up so yes there are some unforuntately big issues but overall its still a treat. Obviously not everybody cares about the issues with the German planes (cockpit, physics etc) but they matter to me so of course I'd be a little more frustrated than most.

Remaining hopeful...

Yea, no mention of fw190 issue is crap - they screwed this plane up. The plane flies great in 1946 and it can be used to good effect. It is totally castrated in BOP - it's a joke, every bit as much a joke as what they did to the p-51.

What do you mean? So you're telling me a real FW 190 can make a turn in under 5 minutes?....

Yeah it gives such a visibility advantage to be at tree-top level, especially on the eastern front. It almost negates entirely the value of potential energy conferred by altitude. Actually, I prefer playing on the English arenas for that reason; less foliage makes it harder to hide. I think everyone is getting a little bit better though and you can feel the value of maintaining energy for diving to get close in on a bandit, as well as for quick get-aways, people seem to be using the vertical a lot more recently which is cool, like in that fight Panzergranante was talking about, it was all boom and zoom.

Now if only I could learn to shoot straight!
