That mobo might not have this option at all even as a feature. But scour thru all the advanced tabs just to make sure. Another thing is to change power plan in windows, if applicable. To use maximum performance all the time etc. Small things like Cool and Quiet, this HPET, some C1State etc. can cause stutter. Also make sure your card in NV control panel is set to Prefer Maximum performance instead of adaptive. Disable PhysX too for IL-2 etc. Other tips I do not know. |

I have same problem with my GTX 580
When I run FRAPS I get stutters. But mainly when recording in Gun View, which is a zoom view. |

Try using the v2.2.0 beta 3 version of Afterburner, it has video capture built in and doesn't clobber frame rates like FRAPS does, its a far better way of capturing gameplay. Its downloadable (free) from www.guru3d.com
here's a test I did with it, recently, using ROF (watch in HD!):
