Since posting that thread I tried the latest drivers and SST for an X52 I recently bought, mainly to use the MFD. So far it's been stable on both my WIN7(32bit) and XP PC's. It was hell with my Cyborg and frequent BSOD with the SST installed (which I am pretty sure was the same SST version as I now have).

some of minimouse and keyboard emulation drivers are updated. Personally i don't use the mfd so i disabled the service, and i don't keep the sst running in background, i just did my profile for il2 and when i need it, start the sst and send the profile to the stick then i close it.

Downloaded the V7 Beta. Really weird, it is a quarter of the file size of V6.9 and during installation warns you that the V7 Magic Drivers are earlier than the ones installed with 6.9? It seems to work OK but also noticed that it has been dumbed down compred to 6.9 with respect to the product view which is fixed and no interaction. Pity there is no 'readme' as it 'seems more dated despite the later version number.

because in the 6.6.6.9 version of saibus.sys and saimini.sys they wrote 9.9.9.9 but the build date is older (june 2009), in the 7.0.2.9 the date is september 2010 and the build version is right (7.0.2.9) so windows said the newer was older but is not true. I don't know what the hell they included in more than 200mb of the 6.6.6.9

about the interaction, i don't see any difference, if you click programming you will see the joystick and interact with the buttons...

It does make you wonder what the other missing 160Mb did! Saves on HD space if nothing else
