With all the desperation regarding trees you'd think this is a "forest simulator." if you're playing this game, or quitting, because of trees you're playing the wrong game in the first place.

I am sure people have right to have the complete package which includes trees and shadows.

Let's cheer for critical gameplay fixes *first*, then trees, clouds, reflections, tracers, etc. EDIT: oh and by the way, on the contrary, no one has "rights" to the "complete package." If 1C said tomorrow, "the game now includes nothing but models and no textures...just flat colors" and uploaded a patch to the official steam version that enforced that statement, there is nothing you can do as you do not have "rights" to anything 1C creates, only a license to play what they offer. Just sayin'. Last edited by AbortedMan; 07-04-2012 at 05:55 AM. |

After installing this newest patch last night, I was getting notably better frame rates. Put my puter to "sleep" for the night...woke it up today and frame rates were lower than they ever had been (6-20). I rebooted and frame rates shot back up to 65-85. Deleting cache and restarting COD did not help...only after reboot did frame rates go back up. In my case, my guess is COD did not like running on a computer that just woke up instead of booting from bios. I must say though that this patch has brought with it a lot more CTD occurrences for me. CTD's have been very rare for me, until this patch. ******EDIT: Started the pc from sleep mode again today and ran COD. Frame rate was ok this time.***** ASUS Crosshair V formula XFX Radeon HD6990 Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3Ghz--clocked @ 4.00 GHz AMD 32 gigs DDR3 1600 MHz corsair mem Coolit Vantage liquid cooler for cpu 1000 watt Thermaltake power unit Windows 7 64-bit Last edited by CrusaderOne; 07-04-2012 at 08:47 PM. Didn't the E7 had the DB601N engine?

No it had the same DB 601 A as the previous Emils. The only Emils who got the DB 601N received the /N suffix to their designation.

Hi. The DB 601/N wasn't the dafault engine of the E-7, but – of course – it was used in E-7/N and E-4/N too.
