I only halfheartedly tried to get a MP connection.

First I said 'Let's try some dogfight on sim mode' - 'No BoP servers available this time'
Ok, so maybe another game type, let's try 'any' - 'No BoP servers available this time'
Hmmm, well, maybe nobody is playing it on sim, let's try any difficulty - 'No BoP servers available this time'
Damn, ok, let's host a game. 10 minutes later I gave up. That was Sunday morning, 10:30 GMT.

Sorry for going off topic - back to your question now. Consoleros generally have a bad attitude when it comes to losing. Try Battlefield 1943 - when you see your team losing it won't take long until at least half of your team mates quit.

While not pleased about getting my ass handed to me, I definitely take a loss like a man and try harder the next time. If you're playing on X360, feel free to add me to your friends list. GT 'H Lecter'. I'll be happy to have at least one person who plays this game on sim difficulty.

I've only had one go and that was after selecting "any" and "any" for the options. I ended up in a room set to arcade and full of Welshmen all shouting incomprehensibly at one another.

Seems then that I was still better off finding nothing at all. I would hate it if all online action was arcade only. (Can live with the Welshmen part )

I too have had difficulty finding anything other than arcade rooms. It's my hope that everyone is just concentrating on campaign first in order to unlock more planes, and that MP play picks up soon.

I refuse to play any more arcade games. There's little real ACM skill involved, and it usually comes down to whoever has their sensitivity cranked up the highest. I'm not going to reset this every time I enter a game.

Well i let ye shoot me down lots of times the other night. I didn't want to beat ye so badly, that it put you off the game for good.

if you patient you will find a game on any mode. do your search, and if it comes up blank, leave it and will show when someone has created a game. in otherwords, the list does refresh itself every few seconds.

360 or PS3? On 360 it just says Server not available and you need to press to try again.

Yeah that's the problem with most online games nowadays. Most of the kids playing are more concerned with maintaining their precious stats than they are with just haveing fun. These are the same people that start clans that don't take members unless they have a ridiculously high KDR, and scream obscenities about your mother into their mic when they win, and are the first ones to cry cheater and glitcher when you win. People have no sense of honor anymore.
