Usually I just fly low near the ground, keep my eyes around the sky, and if I see a formation, I usually go for it. And also, you can just order your wingmen to attack the main objective ie Ju-52s, and they'll go after them easy. They shouldn't be hard to spot in the moon light, if your lower then they are.

yeah that works too, i am correct about having to take down the planes right?

Hello Fella's, just got the game yesterday and have read through the post's above, enjoying it but am struggling with this mission, the best i have done is shot down 22 planes and then the fail mission message comes up after about 8mins 20secs ish. How many transports are there to shoot down?

I have used my wingmen to intercept but they are useless (they seem to take forever to get a kill).

Any info is much appreciated

There's only about 10 to 12 Transport planes to shoot down.

just out of curiosity, what difficulty are you trying to beat this level on?
