That's until your swarmed with 109s and FWs. But don't worry, if you fly the Il-4, I will protect you

Your allied with us so hopefully you'll be protecting that B17 anyway in your yak

Your right!!

EDIT: Maybe if I'm flying a P-51, then I'll protect your B-17s. But I'll probably be a dedicated Eastern Front pilot

Yeah, "Go dance with the angels, mister." All the AC games had great gameplay but I can't stomach the weird-ass stories.

Well AC5's story was much better than AC6 and its dance with angels crap that had no link at all with the missions you flew until the last mission. AC5 felt like you were in the story. I even felt a bit sad in that night patrol mission when your wingman had to ditch his plane into the stadium killing himself but saving hundreds of people (though I did wonder what happened to the 50 odd dead aircraft that must have rained down on the city, maybe everybody had really strong umbrellas? lol)

He's just protecting you untill you are on his territory and the mechanics can strip your plane apart

Hmmm dedicated eastern front pilot..... fair play

any idea how the multiplayer works in terms of bombing the airfield etc?

is it "allies v axis" meansing you can using russian fighters/bombers with RAF/USAF fighters/bombers together?? this making any sense?

or is it gonig historic and using only certain scenario planes for each map?

its something ive not really looked into or thought about until now.

I used to make a lot of skins for IL2 back in the day. I can certainly understand not being able to do so on the console, But I would at least like to see some skin DLC for various planes, like the Tuskegee Paint Schemes or something like that. Heck if they manage give us a DLC that allows for easy colouring of the planes, that would rock, but I don't see that happening. But notable paint schemes in future DLC's would be very nice.
