The IGN review is impressive. I'm really happy the game received an 8.6 rating. Now I plan to wear my flight goggles for the entire month of September in honor of this momentus occasion.

Ah, didn't think about that. My wife bought me a leather bomber jacket with a fur collar from Sporty's when I got my CFI I, now I need to wear it every time I play BoP. The fact that it's usually around 105 on average this time of year in TX is irrelevant. Nazi bastards! Rommel! You magnificent son of a bitch! I read your book!

Too bad they seem to ignore IL2 on the front page - how many people will read that review?

Alright, here's my problem with the Bombs Away video (I've watched it 3 times now ). Why can't we get someone who's not trigger happy, and won't start attacking from lower altitude. If it was me () or possibly anyone else who will approach the situation tactically, they/me would have kept below the 109s, let them pass and start climbing behind them, quickly climbing above them and then coming down on them from above. That's my problem with the Bombs Away video

They're playing arcade mode though. You do not need tactical awarness when playing arcade. Might as well be playing a first person shooter on easy.

I think finding different tactics to use will add a lot of replay value to the game. I agree with you, though, the guy in the video seemed to be more Blazing Angels and less BoP. I'm wondering is there is some kind of radar aspect to the mission that was forcing him to engage that low. However, it was nice to see how the bomb sights are going to work in the game. Does anyone have any feedback on how they will work in sim mode, though? Can't see the cockpit, refuse to use the virtual cockpit.

He probably had to take out some ground targets, (Maybe). But even on the demo, I usually just pass over the He-111s, then then come back around or just fly across their formation, like the Me262s did when attacking bomber formations.
