There is a B-17 in the multiplayer video so I would assume that heavy bombers would be a part of it.

I did see a quick glimpse of an Italian Macchi. Couldn't tell if it was a Macchi 202 Folgore or a Macchi 205 Veltro? Only exterior difference is the air cleaner, and the only interior difference being the engines. (Macchi 202= DB 601 & Macchi 205= DB 605)

I once got a little too aggressive with lap play and I broke my stick.

I'm a little confused about the multiplayer difficulty settings. From what I read around here, it seems like there is going to be a choice between arcade and sim. I'm wonderin' if anyone knows where realistic flyers like me are going to fit in. Are they going to stick us in with the sim people or am I going to be forced to play arcade with its jet engines and two hit kills? If anyone has any info on this I would really appreciate it.

No, all three of the default difficulty settings are definitely available, and hopefully they will be customisable like the difficulty settings in the older Il2s were.

If this has been asked before, my bad.

I have a question about the online Sim Mode:

How does enemy Plane spotting work?
Spotting on sight, reveals details on the flight map for my squad buddys to see where the enemy is located?

Or is there a information about the enemy player onscreen in the cockpit view.
Like Player name and plane type.
I hope that is not the case, i want to spot my enemy on sight and it would take away a lot of realism if enemy planes in the skys are flying around with some visible information (like in arcade mode right now).

So how does this work in online play?

Sim or a compromise between casual gaming an sim mode?
