On the other hand, not so many Hurricanes are flyable now Actually, none of them - as well as most of othe WW2 planes.
Not to say about ability to shoot at enemy plane with guns (and not homing missiles) and to bomb Nazis.

I saw a Hurricane fly last June at tibenham uk..

If you want dogfighting go to Redshanks Pub in East London- ask for Barry...it'll cost you a monkey but the betting's good

If you want to bomb Nazi's just try the Israeli Foreign Minister,
Coca Cola South America...
or Chelsea FC young supporters club C18...to name but a few

you might get into trouble though...

Yeah, but that's not Mk.II. I thought, none of them are flyable now.

Maybe it was privately made by somebody.

THeirs a museum by my house that has a number of flyable WWII aircraft. Spitfire, Hurrican, BF-109, B-25, lancaster, all that stuff. They fly over my house the odd time.

A couple years ago, my parents bought me ride in a B-25 for my birthday. One of the coolest experiences ever. They even had extra space, so my wife got to ride along as well for free. Got to crawl in all the gun positions and squeeze myself over the bomb-bay area. Fun stuff...

It is a Canadian built variant... and still really cool to see.
