There are missions with take-offs.
As well as MP modes.
It is impossible to make sure, that all journalists will know everything about the game, especially in preview.

Anton, are the difficulty settings customisable? I know there are three different difficulty settings, but is it possible to choose which options such as infinite ammo, cockpit only view, realistic gunnery and so on you want to use?

Some of them are - in MP and Single Missions.
In Campaign, you have just 3 presets.

As far as game play news, I'm slightly disappointed that there will be no blackouts/redouts for positive and negative G in Simulation mode. I would have liked that as an option.
This is an important and realistic feature in simulation mode. It can´t be taken out.

Not having blackouts is not a good design decision. I understand not having it in arcade mode but it is a must in simulation. EVERY flight simulator has blackouts and redouts.

Yeah, this is pretty ridiculous. In sim mode black/redouts would have had a impact on winning or losing a dogfight. To take them out because of an ignorant focus group is crazy!

It's a crucial bit of depth that will be sorely missed.

It was turned off, because focus-group was reported it as bug, especially in Arcade settings.
