I checked my cache folder (in the paintschemes section, right?) and there was nothing to delete, it was already empty.
Well if the hotfix is in the works, I can wait, having much fun offline.

Thanks for the info and all the work.

After I installed the ver.2. fix correctly, everything seems to work fine. I haven't even messed with the cache folders. I made a short hop online in the new Bf 110 E-2. Be sure to double check that the void.bmp skins were installed in the correct folders, and that the void files in the aircraft folders are indeed 1mb in size, instead of 3.

Edit: Just one more thing. I encountered a freeze online with the Fw 190 A-5. The void skin was indeed 1mb... but I had a work bmp file (a winter skin template, hehe) in the aircraft folder, which was actually a 3mb file. When I deleted that, everything worked again. So, if you fly online, make sure that the folders are "clean" - delete all large bmp files.

I have encountered "freezing" problem again, on the same server, when trying to chose the field with Bf-110 C and E.
Cleaning NetCache subfolder (of PaintSchemes folder) didn't help, but cleaning Cache folder did the job.

Hope the fix is out soon.
Have tried yesterday this map online:

And failed to use airfield in A5.3 where Bf-110s were placed. Fix applied, cache folders cleared, but no luck.

I can confirm that, same thing happened to me, chose air field, then 110 1943, and game froze, reset, did it again, and same thing.

I even had one "kick" that brought me right to desk top, game was shut down. While I was firing at a easy target too.

(I would like to take this opportunity to correct my last post about being satisfied with the new tracers, it's just the same online, with a pit, I was flying wonder woman while i tested the .13M offline, and there was a improvement on being able to track my line of fire, but with a pit, .50cal are still vague smoke trails with very little tracer).
