Open a mission in the ME. Choose the plane or group of planes you want to alter the AI by selecting one of the way-points on the map.

Select VIEW on the top bar above the map and choose OBJECT BROWSER. The Browser Window will appear with multiple tabs along the tops. Choose the GROUP PROPERTIES. About 2/3rds of the way down the list on the Group Properties Tab is a drop down menu option for SKILL. Toggle the drop down arrow to change SKILL properties from Rookie, Average, Veteran, Ace, Custom. Choosing CUSTOM will cause a pop up window to appear, where you can change all the parameters such as: Basic Flying, Awareness, Gunnery, Tactics, Vision, Bravery, Discipline.

Thanks Robert I tried to edit in the FMB "missions" yesterday but didn't have a clue as to what to do, so no joy but I believe your tips here will help fix the problems...I hope!

robert - am in the process of changing the afore mentioned missions, but thanks to you I have the general idea. What has been an eye-opener to me is finding these settings & the depth of detail one can pack into building a mission, nevermind a campaign-its staggering. No wonder there hasn't been the number of "builds" one finds in the old Il-2.One really has to plan indepth to produce involving results !
