Perhaps a good idea in the long run. But since radar and ir missiles are completely different ballgame it would be nice to see non-missile extensions of SoW:BoB or IL-2 FB first.
Better to deal with the fifties and sixties first, early jets and old-fashioned gun kills are so much more fun than ir and radar fights, but that's personal
So after doing Korea, Suez '56 and '67's Six-Day war, the Paki-Indian airwar would be great. And how about an 'What-If?' NATO-Warshaw pact airwar set before the Vietnam jet war kicked in? After all, we got the 'What-If?' Luftwaffe '46 extension already ..
