well, i didn't touch the mods or whole modding business until Oleg specifically said that is work on IL2 over ! They consider it finished so i seriously doubt that Oleg even think about IL2 series anymore .... so there can't be any approval or disapproval . The man has moved on ...

With 4.09 we will stop any work with Il-2. Really we did it already... just waiting finalization of new maps.

well from what i've read he made his opinion on that quite clear.
As i have made mine. Untill he changes his...i doubt that mine will be swayed.
and even if he did come out for them....with out some sort of instituinonal control, some board of some sort with in the community to try and reign in the code and the cheaters......

I see on UBI where thier working on Radar. That's sad.
Only becuse some one will do a P-61. And when they do it they won't do it justice and it'll be porked in FM and Dm cause some LW uber nazi will think it's just another twin enigine american target drone that was made from wood and has the FM of a B-17.

I mean , being so negative in general and offensive towards our blue friends ... do remember that this is just a game .... or if you would like to fool yourself : sim .

Anyhow, thanks to mods you do have opportunity to actually make some changes .... so make mod which will be correct . Bitching around is thing of the past ... ( i'm sure Oleg will approve your mod )

i have a mental rating system for the evilness of mods. (1. being bad. fm/dm.)
this is around a 3. only slightly less evil than adding unhistoric loadouts to some planes for an obvious advantage in DF.

The ONLY reason. and i mean only reason i won't pitch a b*tch on this one....
is because if you go back to the Original Il-2....Prior to patch 1.2.....there were moving trains in DF. It was eaither 1.2 or 1.4. whatever patch it was that tonned down the FM of the Il-2 to more of a bomber than a fighter /bomber. Some where that got removed. i think it was to free up resouces for DF's. to allow more ppl in the rooms at one time. But that was over 7 yrs ago.

Thats just it, alot of people seem to think that Oleg left out for ex. moving trucks, a gazillion troops, fires in 13 differant colours, smoke that can be seen from hundreds of miles...just on pure spite.

well now they have it and, well...FPS killer anyone?

Regardless of rights and wrongs the mods are now here to stay, like it or not.

Why can everyone agree to live and let die, move on and respect another persons views..

I think this has now go to a point that several people (no names etc) have painted themselves into corners that they cannot get out of, or be seen to have changed their minds.
Some do and credit to them for saying so, but how many 'rightous ones' are registered over on AAA with Alias's so as not to be idenified??

Except that you can view every thing without needing to register Only to download the unmitigated evil you need to be registered. But none of those there righteous people would do something as disgusting as that now would they?

Nice try, but looking at whats beeing done doesnt really cut the mustard does it.

How do u think i know most of the new fires (buildings) and smokes for ex is a real FPS killer. Drop a couple of bombs over a city whith those "masterpieces" and wach your pc blow up
