GoGamer (and others) simply want to get their hands on working capital. You pay for the product...which you will not get. They promise you will get the product as soon as it becomes available (and I quote from their Site). They use your money for the next month or 6 months, or two friggin' years. It's a sucker deal for the very stupid customer who falls for it.

GoGamer is very supportive of the SimHq community. I suggest you might want to back off your statements. Do you have "personal real first hand" experience of a negative nature with them? This is the first time I've ever read anything bad about them, and I don't think they're out to screw anyone over.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, That was just his way of saying SOP. The hyperbole he threw in for free.

And bhunter2112, I want you to stay .... but I thought you weren't gonna let the screen door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

Based on what I'd been hearing lately, I thought Dec 09 was more believable?

Please, prove me wrong.

Why are we doing this and all similar discussions?
Hasn't Oleg already explained that we won't be seeing the game before August '09 and that's the best bet for now?

BTW, with the world economy crisis just starting (I wouldn't believe those telling us that things will get better soon), don't be surprised seeing this and other projects being canceled, postponed to unforeseen future or not being successful at all. Don't forget that not many people will be able to afford buying the kind of pc that SoW will need.

I really can’t see what development of BoB (which is in late phase) has to do with so called “world economy crisis”? Also I think that most people would be positively surprised on hardware specifications needed for BoB. Don’t imagine space ships and dragons, BoB will be very playable on average computer.

Oleg is saying late summer 2009 "if everything goes well" and will release system specs in May 2009. I am amazed that it will be released this soon, seeing as how much we are lead to believe needs to be done yet and based on how long it has taken so far. This is such a complex program and so much is going into it.
Perhaps Oleg and team are at the stage of development where things are moving along faster than before.

System spec was to be available to us this past summer.

Oleg 11-30-2007

"Yes... better to wait with upgrade of PC if the BoB is the main in your mind. I still don't know midlle and lowest hardware that to run BoB smooth. Will know finally in spring or even more close to summer".

I quess the game is so complex, that the information for spec is pushed ahead a whole year. Nothing to do for this, but wait and see
