A Mage depends on magic to deal with enemies. You should have saved your runes for higher magic, and level 3 distortion and chaos magic. You need to get more intelligence and mana boosting artifacts. Also, get some Emerald Dragons if you can.

The skill that transforms priests into inquisitors is not worth it. Instead, get the sacrifice spell, it's a chaos spell lets you sacrifice units from one group of creatures to increase the numbers of another group, so you can sacrifice a bunch of peasants to increase the numbers of powerful creatures like dragons or giants.
Creatures are randomly generated but there's a good chance of finding Emerald Dragons in a shop on one of the islands around Elven lands. |

I'm suprised you're not having mana problems. If you return the crown to the Griffin King you could end up a a nice painting after the 2nd quest.
Spell power takes a big jump after every 7 points of Intellect so get it to 21 as soon as possible. I really like starting games of King's Bounty but if you don't you'll be able to get through it. However I think I would choose to restart and not waste ruins on Inquisition. |
