Problem with sound(there is sound just broken)

well i've been playing the game for a while i finally finished the battle with the staff of destruction and the AVG started a scan so i had to alt+tab out of the game and pause it when i got back the sound was all broken up and it's very very annoying (its only in the game btw) idk why it happens any way to fix it?
