Sometimes simpler maps with a clear objective, make encounters more frequent.

Having too many objectives with the amount of people that fly online nowadays, could be somewhat over ambitious. Those maps were incredibly fun two years ago, but now with fewer people playing, they are becoming too big.

Also, it is not a request for il2, but actually for the server hosts.
It's a valid request, however, it'd be nice to recognize that one mans feast is another mans famine. Some like the complexity and some do not and since it isn't cut and dried there are varying degrees to what people find interesting and acceptable.

As a mission design for dogfight servers you have to know and cater to the audience that you want to attract... and usually after all of these years you tend to find who they are. Not everyone likes it and some try and make your server into what they want... when really they should maybe check out some other place.

Point well taken about the slowly shrinking online community and the desire to have at least some combat. If the scenario is too large then maybe it needs to shrink a bit. Or maybe players will need to focus a bit more on hitting targets as designated (if the server provides that).
