Silly question: how to zoom?

Hi,

Couldn't find the answer anywhere, but I got a really silly question: how can I zoom in / zoom out in the "free-mode"? Is there any hotkey for it or any button?

You can zoom in and out by using the mouse wheel, but the zoom out is pretty lacking. There's also a camera mod that was created for the first game in the series that some people use with this one as well. Personally, I'm reluctant to use any mods with this game as it's already somewhat unstable.
