I'm intrigued, I'll give it a try. I've been struggling to get WW1 planes to work in 4.12, with little success. Vpmedia's work with DBW_1916 is outstanding, but I'd like to try some of the new features of 4.12 with it.

And PabloS, thanks for acknowledging that you created NONE of the content for this package, right?

Set it up with 4122

I'm having a problem with these aircraft.

Fokker DR1
Fokker DVI
Snipe
Cammel
Spad

When started they are at full throttle.
They seem to have no throttle control.
They keep running full throttle until they burn out.

These notes are from the original source of the Camel model.
Read more here: http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.ph...c,26104.0.html
You will also find sections covering the other aircraft you mention.

Quote:
Some notes on flying it:
- Before take-off, put chocks in and ensure magnetos are set to 1+2 (this selects all cylinders)
- Try start. If fails first time, spin the prop again until it starts
- Once engine running, set Mixture towards rich
- When running smoothly, release chocks!
- Whilst this aircraft has no true throttle, you can control you power in two ways: leaning out mixture and selecting less cylinders (in this case, magneto setting 1 or 2 selects 1/3rd of cylinders). I'm still investigating the historical accuracy of the magneto selector but appears some Camels could select groups of cyclinders, others couldn't.
- The Camel was renowned for killing young inexperienced pilots due to it high torque and power in dive. Be wary of the torque on take-off and watch your speed in a dive!
- To blip the engine, press the 'Toggle Engine' key in quick succession. If you leave the engine off for too long, you will loose too much speed and the engine might not restart
- Once the engine dies mid-air, that's it. You can't jump out and restart it.
