Anybody has the knowledgement of how I get the software information to do physycal simulation for to move external engines of a new cockpit with freedom axis? Or anybody has the 1946 SDK (Software Development Kit)? Thanks a lot for your help. Almost like this: Last edited by SAKAI69; 09-18-2013 at 06:29 PM. |

IL-2 has a facility for gauge output called Devicelink. More information can be found in the Devicelink.txt file in your IL-2 directory.
However, this only provides gauge readings(ADI, VSI, etc..), not physics data. Other than Devicelink there is no output that I know of. Nor an SDK. |

A physical simulation like that in the video can't reproduce acceleration and G-changes, so most of the flight data is useless anyway. Data of the 3 principal axes (yaw, pitch, roll) should suffice IMHO. You can get these through DeviceLink (e.g. compass, climb/sink indicator, bank indicator).

Thanks anyway. Both of you helped a lot.
