Its not so much ignorance, but more like fear, I've not been shy in the past to mod the hell out of things and have even done a lot of it myself, however while this sim' is still being supported I choose to stick with the official patch work knowing this is the safest way to avoid any potential clashes. Yet if there are ways to implement outside changes without adversely effecting any future TD patch then I welcome the opportunity of being lead out of this condition ignorance/fear.
