I am looking for that kind of reason they are not beautiful.

But I look with a camouflage pattern.
I can't see the link because I am not a member of the ATAG forum.
Can you post it again from another place.

Also could you ask your question in your own language. Someone here will translate it. I still don't know what you are asking.

Hi E.F HARTMANN
Here is a link to Vagabonds excellent IL2 Skinning Tutorials.
Although this is Photoshop the Principles are the same with Gimp.
I used these tutorials when I first started making Skins and I have always used Gimp.
There are NO voids with Cliffs of Dover so just use the Blank Template instead.
You wont need the "Remove White" with My CLOD Templates
Click on url at top of link to Watch ALL the videos on Youtube and then practice.

Someone had asked where they could get a pink skin with white daisy's on it over at the ATAG site, and two of us "elaborated"

Here's the one that I had posted, one of the ones that Hartmann speaks of.. The other one which is on that post is from a different artist, but is basically the same kind of thing.

Sorry, I misunderstood you earlier. Now I understand (I think).

You need to look for 'tiled' images of camouflage. They can be joined up many times to male a big pattern. They are also known as 'seamless tiles', and they are made so they can join together without the join showing. You can join as many as you want and Gimp will join them, I'm sure.

Seamless tiles (tiled images):

I know how to do it in Elements, but not in Gimp.
These might help:

Google for more information on it.

I hope this information helps you now.

Cheers

Well.. if you think about it.. any image can be turned into a pattern, if that is what you're looking for.

Copy image "A"
Paste image "A" and mirror it once so that you have image "B"
Copy both images "A" and "B"
Paste image "A" and "B" below the existing "A" and "B" and then flip the image so that you have images "C" and "D"
Add all four of them together and they merge seemlessly ("E")
Repeat and Repeat and/or modify the image ("F") so that you don't have the same repetative pattern happening (unless the pattern style is what you're looking for).

Hope this helps.
