The griffon (arlania) - Quest??

When I talk to the griffon on the island of arlania (i think the name is lira or something like that) she attacks me. Always. Do I have to kill her? Is there a quest associated??


Perhaps killing the spider-boss in arlania (cave) since the spider isn't associated to any quest.

I'm asking because during the fight with the griffon i get a rune.

She has 2 quests later on that give you total of 18 runes IIRC so your choice then

Really? Which quests are those, and when are they unlocked?

How do i unlock those quests?

And the spider (i think is a ice spider) boss has any quest?

Oops, sorry guys, my memory does not serve me this time. The griffin that gives you the quest I mentioned is a different one and at much much near the end game (and reward is not that high too )

@generalee: You probably meant the griffin on Iceland. Afaik, the griffin on Griffin Island in Arlania does not have a quest associated to it, and I believe someone on this forum even posted that a developer confirmed this.
The ice spider is associated to the quest you get from that merchant on Griffin Island.

thanks, yes i've the quest for the ice spider active.


So far all the caves that existed in KBTL existed too in WoN and i was able to enter them by activating some quests.
In KBTL existed in arlania a cave on that griffon island (w/ spiders and such) and another cave after that "woodchopper thing" w/ the snake witch. Can I activate those caves?

Definitely yes for the cave on griffin island, and if you mean that skull cave with the second description, then yes for that one as well. Both will be opened up later, after a significant event in the main quest (and after getting the appropriate sidequests).

I've skipped killing her on my second playthrough and she simply disappeared later on.
