The people who will pay the biggest part of the developement are the wwii flight sim fans, which are in the majority have already made up their mind about buying or not, the few stragglers which are not wwii flight sim fans already, can easily be ignored as the resulting additional income wouldn't cover the costs for the demo.

In your opinion it may be strange, but I think you'd be in the minority. It would be nice if the development had the luxury of time and money to produce a demo, but thats highly unlikely. The development doesn't need to post any argument for or against a demo. Their much higher priority is developing a playable, and entertaining WW2 aircombat sim. Everything else will fall into place.

There is no need for a demo, most people will wait for the release and decide if to buy on reviews from trusted sources.

I will wait myself.

...and yes, what furbs says.
If ever.
I shall not forget those 18 months of misery, and being lied to, to the point of thinking "Man, they must have a good laugh right now...".
So BoM better be flawless, with some big, pleasant surprises (flawless as well, of course - you can never be sure with MG) thrown in.

Laughing, I don't think so. They are fighting to keep the jobs that feed their families. Eighteen months of misery, LMFAO.

Agreed..

I can not wait for BoM..

And I will not wait on it like I did CoD (more on this later)

I will pre-order BoM as soon as it is aval!

On that note, CoD was one of the 1st flight sims that I actually waited to buy!

Why?

Not because of anything 1C ever did, no..

The reason I waited to buy CoD was due to UBI and how they handled silent hunter 5..

My fear was UBI would have some say in how long 1C 'could' provide support of CoD

In that the support of Silent Hunter 5 was dropped very soon after release!

That is to say what some see as a negative, i.e. 1C supporting CoD for 18+ months is a positive in my book! In that the flip side of that coin is to do what the makers of Silent Hunter did! The true definition of take the money and run..

But I digress

About six months after CoD's release, I saw that UBI had no say let alone control over 1C's support of CoD, so I pulled the trigger and bought CoD!

At this point in time is CoD everything 'some' people 'dreamed' it would be?

Nope!

In that most things in life are never what people 'dream' they could or should be!

But is CoD a very playable and best BOB simulator to date?

Yup!

And this new flight sim engine develop by 1C is positioned to provide us more flight sim sequels in the near future! Just like the orginal IL-2 flight sim engine did!

All in all I am a very happy camper!

Than again my dreams are rooted in reality!
