Yep EVERYBODY has internet access and wants to play online but just incase they don't have or don't want to they really ought to have a choice of fighting the AI.

The last eight posts in this thread are OFF TOPIC. The topic is weather guys! It's extemely annoying how thoughtlessly people hijack threads

Just to bring this thread back on topic, I'm sorry but I have to say that is complete rubbish to think that this is 'good to go' with those additions.

What's far more important is that the content we have at the moment is not sub-par and bug free. To name just a few examples this means planes that reach simply within the ballpark of their correct ceiling and climb times, merlin engines that don't have chronic overheating and stuttering problems, propellers we can see through, ai that actually resemble a piloted aircraft, guns that don't sound like tapping on a desk, planes that don't disappear when you get near them... the list just goes on and on. Such basic, glaring issues and so many of them.

There is no point adding more when what we have is an inaccurate mess. The recent patch was a step in the right direction, but still only a step. I thank those that consistently spoke out and 'nitpicked' all the bugs and inaccuracies as without those people this game would have been magnitudes worse than it is now.

Well getting back to the weather, salmo was correct about the clouds. You could have some very decent looking clouds on-line if they the designers decide to go with it. As far as I can tell, the other factors are not working...winds/buffeting etc.

Slipball, winds/buffeting do work & you can have many layers of wind with different strengths & drection & gusts. See post #12 to DL a sample mission with very strong winds close to the ground at Lympne.

Just have to wait for the sequal...
... hmmm, nothing against your optimism but do you really think they get it done with the weather system for the sequel ?
I strongly doubt it considering how long we had to wait for what we have now.

Could be you are right if the sequel comes in 2 years.
