If there is no such a person and no one in the team cares BOM sales will be even lower than CLOD (= end of the series).

I know it because I watched the forums very closely and saw level of frustration community gets when it learns that bugs well-known at the forums are not known to the devs (because they do not use the product) or top-priority bugs are ignored or no hot-fixes done for show-stopping issues. IMHO.
