Just came off the dawn mission on ATAG. The sky looked fantastic, the lighting is improved. I can now set the game to very high graphics settings all round with ssao and v-sync on and get the same fps as I did previously with settings set to 'high'.

The altitude issues in the 100oct Spit aren't really issues if you use 2600rpm up to 10k ft and 2400rpm higher than that.

Not everything is going to be 100% accurate, but it's time to enjoy simulating early war combat with what we have, and first impressions are that what we have is one fantastic combat flight simulator.

See you on the server gents.

Climbed in ATAG Spit IIA from Sea Level to 29,300Ft +9/2800RPM Rad Full, Mix Auto Rich, all within limits. It did get a bit hard going after 24,000ft but it got there OK and without any engine issues.
