Default Question for the Griffon Spitfire expers

Chaps, do you have any idea if late spits (in particular the MkXIV) had the fuselage identification light removed or it was still somewhere on the fuselage?

I was told it was moved a bit aft of the fuselage, but from pics (of modern restorations) and some blueprints they don't seem to be there..

Any idea?

cheers mate, I've seen that one but it is a bit confusing. I haven't found a single blueprint or picture of late Spits with an ID light under the fuselage so far
