What Blackfox said is correct, however being as the sequel will merge with Clod, updates to the sequel will benefit Clod, in the same way as the old IL2 series worked.
People often forget that Clod isn't the end, its only the beginning of a long range of sequels across various theaters of war, and each one will will bring new content and updates to its predecessors.
