So this is what it comes down once a Mod starts actively endorsing the goading...at least it has the good grace to be out in the open, for a change.

Which is about all that can be said for it. Pathetic.

BTW, I can't see other recent comments but I can guess the usual content. Edifying, I bet.

Boy did you misinterpret the original post. It's not an appreciation thread at all but a piss-take aimed at the "whiners".

That there, is the truth gentlemen, the thing that separates us are our point of views, which is fine BUT some people here have a hard time accepting that having a different point of view is fine. Those people -who have a hard time accepting what other people think, on both sides- are narrow minded, bigot and most of all, lack common sense. Peace!

P.S It seems to me, that those who are whining at the whiners are taking out their disappointments and frustrations, regarding the game, on other forum members instead of directing it against the source of the problem, the developers.

I believe JG52Uther knows exactly what this thread is about, and understands the various ironies and back-and-forths to a tee. But you'll have to ask him about that.

but doesn't your "source of the problem, the developers" deserve the same right to "the thing that separates us are our point of views, which is fine BUT some people here have a hard time accepting that having a different point of view is fine. Pffft The heck with all you nay-sayers of doom. Whining and crying and adding dissent with the incessent buzz of a summer time mosquito at night.

Love the whining or hate the whining, you're still forum family! For that I'm glad you're still here. I'd miss you lot!

Well - my point between the lines in my original post is that we are all very similar in our devotion to this game as we are all still here... Deep inside we actually all want it to succeed, even though we have different ways of expressing it

Some of us are naive optimists that every Friday get surprised as we actually think a patch will be released, even though we deep down understand that it's very unlikely - and we know that there would still be tons of bugs left anyway - and new ones to squash...

Some of us see all in black and like to point finger at all the broken "promises", embarrassing bugs, missing features and smugly remark "what did I tell you!" when a patch does not double the FPS or make the radio commands work...

But in the end, all of us see the unpolished gem that is there inside of the spaghetti code - otherwise we would all have left a year ago...

/Mazex

Thumbs up

Me thinks we have run this self admiring thread long enough?

Mazex got the first and last word in this thread... that should be sufficent.

Time to lock it up before it gets sultry and mean.
