Well I think it's good that 1C will have more resources in it's disposal and maybe(MAYBE) more passion to take risks in developing different kinds of games.

One thing that stands out is that there will be no merger at the moment,which I think is a good thing. usually when a company gets too big,it also gets more greedier and thus results in more safe games and old formulas that are done to death...oh and also multi/console only games.

But will this affect games currently under development?

edit. and will we see buka games on 1C download page?

I agree that this is a good thing because if 1c has more resources then we will see more games right?? Buka hasnt release any new game for almost 2 years now, right? Maybe that because is a small company.

This agreement will not affect current games, everything will be published as planed.

i mean that as black stick said before most big companies create more games for consoles than pc. So if 1c and Buka merge together will continue to support pc?

Surely continue, don't worry about that. As I said in another thread, PC is still the main platform in Russia, and also for 1C.

Maybe. There are such plans, but officialy they are not announced.
