I like it. It's not a hardcore WW2 sim but then it doesn't want to be one in the first place. It's great fun and I see myself and my buddies spending quite some time with it.

Only a few hours in, bur certainly enough potential there to entertain. A good selection of aircraft and thankfully lots of Off buttons in the settings to get rid of the arcade options. Flying in Simulator mode with all the HUD elements removed is actually quite pleasant.

Well i have just got it and really enjoyed it, have been test piloting the starter planes, im going to fine tune the settings and stuff, but sure is fun with the swordfish..

Had a HELL of a lot of fun, theres a canyon map, the rear gunner of my swordfish shot the chap behind down, i turned to fire on another and he crashed into the hill then i dropped my torpedo on a convoy for lolls!

Pros:
  • Menu music (beautiful rendition of Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus and a rousing 2nd movement from Beethoven's 7th)
Cons:
  • Flying
I'm sure it'll appeal to some. I'll stick to CloD (and Spotify).

Theres a reason for instrumenting a plane for test..
That being a pilots's 'perception' of what is going on can be very different from what is 'actually' going on.
