Default Books about Air Combat

In searching Amazon, I found three books that look interesting. Has anyone read any of them, and can recommend one over the others?

Fighter Combat: Tactics and Maneuvering by Robert L. Shaw

Air Combat Manoeuvres: The Technique and History of Air Fighting for Flight Simulation by J. Steve Thompson

In Pursuit: A Pilot's Guide to Online Air Combat by Johan Kylander

Thanks,

binky9

In pursuit is available on the web as a pdf.

Allot of people rate that book by Shaw but its more about jets. Mike Spick does a good one for Luftwaffe pilots. - Jagdflieger and their tactics.

I recommend, "Des Jaegers Schiessfiebel"

I'm lucky enough to have Heinz Marquardt's copy!

This one? Reads more like a gunnery booklet/pamphlet to me than an in-depth analysis of tactics like Robert L. Shaw's book is, which is about jetfighters yes..but most of the maneuvers and team tactics described in it seem to still be applicable to our WW2 flightsims.

I have read the first two, and I would recommend the Shaw over the Thompson.

I might have to get the other one to see what it's like.

<edit>

At that price for paperback (£29.57), maybe not.

If it is available free as an ebook, that might be a good thing to have, but the Amazon preview reads as if it's pretty dated and all about one particular online game, which is presumably earlier than the original IL2, since that isn't mentioned.
