And why am I always subjected to a picture of two panzers in some geezer's backyard? Is this not supposed to be a flight sim??

I get that a lot too, but sometimes a Do17 spash pops up. If you play the German side you get some different splashscreens! Just not sure why no matter what side you play its an image of something German lol. You'd think playing for the RAF you'd have more British oriented splash screens!

Has anyone found a way to change them ala the way we can in Il-2...Honestly i am sick of them - the quality of the figures in the 109 screen is just hideous.I'd like to use screenshots or my own art work , but have no clue how to do it...

I would like to change some of them just so I can read the text of settings screens, briefings screens, etc. It may have been cool for a bout 5 minutes to see it when it was first released, but I find them impractical when there is text you are supposed to be able to read.

just my 2 cents.
