Could be the cheapest for me. It's the obscure crap planes that interest me most, and most of those are the first ones available. I will hardly be shelling out for Dora's and P-51's anytime soon.

I am a bit sceptical. They have a British, American, German, Russian and prossible Japanese tree, full of planes.

How the heck will they manage to get this huge amount of aircraft, FMs and DMs even remotely close to even IL2 standarts without a team of dozens of programmers?

Will be interesting to see if the FMs are as good as some of the beta testers would have us believe... (I certainly hope they are)

I have not seen any performance data on the planes in-game so I guess we'll have to wait and see....

Who said they will/could? I'm sure it will be somewhat simplified considering the amount of planes.

War Thunder isnt a Sim, if you go into it expecting a sim you will be dissapointed, if you go in hoping for a fun WWII air combat game with some sim like qualities you will be happy.

Hopefully it will still be something I can enjoy.

You just have to take it for what it is and you will enjoy it. Clod for example, I take it for nice tech demo with lovely cockpits and it does those things great!

Yup, its a good game, just not a Simulation, least not to the level of IL2 or DCS, etc.
