Agreed.

A morning walk at praia de Flamengo (where you can practice some fitness and meet some nice girls doing so ) is ideal to watch panes on final landing at Santos Dumont (if I do recall well). You can see them low over the water not that far from you (a bit noisy toughs). There is a good museum for the wf and kiddies not that far if a diversion is urgently needed
